Job summary

Globe Telecom is seeking a skilled data/finance engineer to build and maintain AI-augmented finance applications, analytics, and automation use-cases as part of standard delivery.

You will design production ETL, support IFRS 9 ECL validation and data lineage, and translate finance needs into robust technical solutions with strong Python and SQL at production scale.

Experience in Databricks and cloud platforms will be advantageous, with a focus on end-to-end data products and governance.

Qualifications

• Production-grade Python and SQL with testing and error handling.
• Strong ETL, data cleansing, and workflow orchestration.
• Experience applying AI-assisted development beyond tool familiarity.
• Depth in at least one cloud data platform, Databricks preferred.
• Understanding of data lineage and governance in finance.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale reusable data products for cross-portfolio use.
• Apply AI-assisted development to code, testing, and automation.
• Design and operate production ETL including scheduling and monitoring.
• Support credit risk models, IFRS 9 ECL validation and data lineage.
• Translate business needs from Finance into technical solutions and recommendations.
