Job summary

Genpact is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations professional to manage and optimize enterprise database platforms (PostgreSQL, Db2) on Linux/Red Hat. The role spans incident to release management within ITIL practices, ensuring high availability and security across production environments.

You will collaborate with application teams and business stakeholders to enable robust operations, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement, while supporting onboarding and future project

Qualifications

• Database Administration experience with PostgreSQL and Db2.
• Experience in SQL scripting in Linux environments.
• Experience with Linux/Red Hat Operating Systems.
• Database Availability, Capacity, and Performance Management using monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise database platforms (PostgreSQL, Db2) on Linux/Red Hat; ensure high availability, performance, capacity planning, and security compliance.
• Provide Level 2–3 application support including incident, problem, and change management; assist deployment and release activities per ITIL practices.
• Collaborate with application teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality services and support business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities.
• During onboarding, assist with BAU and KTLO operations and support projects; contribute to security initiatives.
• After onboarding, lead the team and participate in infrastructure design, engineering and architecture; drive service improvements and innovations.
