Job summary

AMCS Group is hiring a Software Architect to join the Architecture team. You will shape the cloud-based platform using the latest tech and align with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure enterprise solutions.

Ideal candidates have deep Microsoft tech expertise, experience in AWS/GCP and Kubernetes, and strong development skills. This role emphasizes architecture with some hands-on coding for core platform offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years development experience.
• 3+ years in Software/Technical/Solution Architecture roles.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and design patterns.
• Experience with distributed enterprise systems and high traffic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft stack (.Net/C#, Web API), Azure services.
• Familiarity with GCP (GKE, Postgres, Cloud Functions).
• Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript (Angular, React).
• Knowledge of SDLC, DDD, TDD, CI/CD.
• Event-driven architecture, microservices, Kafka.
• Container tech (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Azure/Azure DevOps certifications are a plus.
• Interest in AI tech and tools for delivery acceleration.

Responsibilities

• Define the Product Roadmap with Product and Engineering Management.
• Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud-based platform improvements.
• Maintain software architecture standards and best practices.
• Mentor development teams and provide technical direction.
• Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps and Platform teams to automate deployments and governance.
• Ensure data security, privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and reduce strategic technical debt.
• Stay updated on new technologies to improve the platform.
