Relm Insurance Ltd. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to build, deploy and scale AI-powered solutions across Relm, connecting technology, operations and business teams.

You’ll ship end‑to‑end AI workflows, work with Underwriting, Claims and Product, and own iterative improvements from discovery through production. The role requires hands-on experience with modern AI tools and large language models, strong problem‑solving and communication skills, and a proactive, independent mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience building and deploying AI-powered workflows, agents or automation solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern AI tools and large language models.
• Confidence working with APIs, JSON, webhooks, integrations, logs and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work out why something isn’t behaving as expected.
• Experience testing AI outputs for accuracy, reliability and consistency.
• The ability to understand business problems and turn them into practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A curious, experimental mindset and a genuine interest in building with AI.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership from discovery through to production.
• Experience in insurance, financial services or another regulated environment is a bonus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and deploy AI agents, automations and workflows across the business.
• Translate business problems into practical technical solutions using AI tools, APIs and integrations.
• Own solutions once they go live, monitoring performance, debugging issues and improving outputs.
• Work directly with teams to understand where AI can remove friction and improve how work gets done.
• Design testing and evaluation processes to ensure AI outputs are accurate, reliable and safe.
• Build appropriate human‑in‑the‑loop controls for higher‑risk workflows.
• Help develop reusable AI workflows and components that can scale across Relm.
• Stay close to new models, agent frameworks and AI tooling, testing what could add real value.
• Feed production learnings into Relm’s wider AI roadmap.
