Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Scrum Leader to empower software teams with Agile execution and SAFe practices. You will coach, facilitate ceremonies, and help teams deliver high-quality software aligned with PI objectives.

You will partner with Product Owners, engineers, QA, and DevOps to remove impediments and improve delivery flows. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in Scrum/Agile roles, strong facilitation and communication skills, and experience with Azure DevOps in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent.
• 4+ years supporting software teams in Scrum Master/Agile roles.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and cross-functional delivery.
• Knowledge of Scrum and SAFe principles and practices.
• Experience identifying impediments, dependencies, and driving improvement.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Guide iteration planning and delivery aligned with Program Increment objectives and quality standards.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and team events (planning, standups, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives).
• Prepare for PI Planning and coordinate objectives, progress, dependencies, and risks.
• Identify and remove obstacles affecting team effectiveness with stakeholders.
• Improve workflow visibility and predictability using metrics and continuous improvement practices.
• Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum, servant leadership, and collaboration.
• Promote inclusive, trustworthy, and open communication within the team.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, engineers, QA, architects, DevOps, security, and other stakeholders to deliver.
