Western Union Philippines is seeking a Specialist, Business Analysis within AML Compliance Operations to support requirements, processes and change initiatives across APAC. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to assess impact, document requirements, and support AML/KYC activities with strong attention to detail and risk awareness.

Role emphasizes onboarding reviews, change tracking, impact analysis, and process improvement.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a role such as Business Analysis, Project Management, AML/KYC or Compliance Operations.
• Exposure to AML, KYC or financial crime compliance processes.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to identify risks or inconsistencies.
• Critical-thinking, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience supporting meetings and bringing projects to completion.
• AML certification such as CAMS would be advantageous but not required.

Responsabilidades

Role Responsibilities

As a Specialist, Business Analysis within Western Union's AML Compliance Operations team, you will support business analysis, operational processes and change initiatives across the APAC region. You will work with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, assess the impact of proposed changes, support process improvements and maintain clear documentation throughout. The role also supports agent onboarding and related AML/KYC activities, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential risks or inconsistencies.

• Elicit and document requirements for AML Compliance projects and initiatives, working with stakeholders across the organization.
• Support agent onboarding activities by reviewing information and documentation for accuracy, completeness and potential inconsistencies.
• Assist stakeholders in evaluating new opportunities and assessing the impact and effort required to implement proposed solutions.
• Log, track and report change requests and related projects and initiatives.
• Conduct impact analysis and high-level estimations for solution requests and assist with post-implementation analysis.
• Track requirement and design discussions between business, technical and partner stakeholders.
• Support business process improvement activities and update process maps as required.
• Assist with time studies using sampling methods and tools to capture and analyse information.
• Support analytical activities and reporting using Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.
• Maintain accurate documentation and information sharing while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Role Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant role such as Business Analysis, Project Management, AML/KYC, Compliance Operations or a related area.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, finance or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
• Previous exposure to AML, KYC or financial crime compliance processes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review information and identify potential risks or inconsistencies.
• Demonstrated critical-thinking, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to prioritise work and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines and deliverables.
• Experience supporting meetings, coordinating resources and helping bring projects or initiatives to completion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Experience with Salesforce and Jira would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with AS400 would be advantageous.
• An AML certification such as CAMS would be advantageous but is not required.
