Job summary

RTX is seeking a Quality Inspector in the Philippines (Leyte) to join Collins Aerospace operations. The role focuses on inspection, data collection, and compliance with FAA regulations and customer requirements for aviation components.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, coordinating with engineering, and producing inspection records; HS diploma or equivalent with CAAP license preferred. Onsite work with strict safety practices is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FAA regulations and customer/manufacturer requirements for repair equipment.
• Experience with mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, repair and overhaul processes.
• Minimum 18 months experience in disassembling, inspecting, assembling and testing aviation components.

Responsibilities

• Define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions during inspection per repair documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Perform inspections and 8130-3 forms training as needed.
• Assist management in corrective actions to rectify malfunctions.
• Provide data to engineering for product improvement based on inspection findings.
• Analyze fault isolation and test data to ensure conformance with specs.
• Conduct visual inspection of incoming customer products.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and customer/manufacturer requirements.
• Produce inspection records and reports as required by regulations and customers.
