Job summary

Amentum is seeking an AGE Technician to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing Aerospace Ground Equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance with technical standards.

The technician will read manuals and schematics, troubleshoot diverse AGE systems, and document all tasks while following safety and environmental policies on a remote overseas site.

Qualifications

• AGE systems knowledge including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical subsystems.
• Strong problem solving and technical skills to resolve malfunctions.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair AGE to ensure readiness.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical AGE systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and servicing on AGE per contract.
• Document maintenance activities and repair logs per requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and teams on equipment status and timelines.
