Amentum seeks an Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Manager to oversee AGE operations for a unique US Navy program on Diego Garcia. You will supervise AGE technicians, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive readiness of AGE assets in a challenging deployment environment.

The role requires five years of supervisory aviation maintenance experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work across multiple teams while meeting strict safety and environmental standards.

Qualificações

• High school diploma required; higher education preferred.
• At least five (5) years of supervisory experience in aviation maintenance focusing on AGE.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems used in AGE.
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and maintenance publications.
• Understanding of hazardous waste handling and environmental regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee inspection, maintenance, overhaul, repair, and modification of AGE systems.
• Provide leadership to AGE personnel including technicians and supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance directives, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop schedules and work plans for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and related reports.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with other departments and contractors.
