Job summary

Collins Aerospace in the Philippines is seeking an experienced CNC programmer to program, set up, and operate multi-axis machines for aerospace components. You will use Mastercam and Siemens NX to generate and optimize milling and turning programs, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in CNC programming using Mastercam and Siemens NX software.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming for multi-axis machines.
• In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines for aerospace/defense components.
• Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis operations using Mastercam and NX.
• Interpret drawings and CAD data to ensure accurate machining.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and fix issues.
• Improve machining processes to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
