Job summary

RTX, the aerospace and defense leader, seeks a Technician to assist in assembling and preparing electrical and mechanical components for production lines. You will interpret blueprints, wire lists, and diagrams, while using soldering irons and a variety of hand tools.

Collaboration with the Manufacturing team is essential to meet daily and monthly production targets. Requirements include a high school diploma with 1–3 years of related experience; familiarity with CI/Kaizen/5S is preferred.

Qualifications

• Senior high school fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training is an advantage
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
• Preferably with experience in modern manufacturing tools techniques (CI, Kaizen, 5S, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assemble and/or install electrical and/or mechanical components per blueprints, wire lists, diagrams or shop practices
• Prepare for assembly and work with initiative and in a team
• Use small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to hit daily and monthly production targets
• This position is onsite with possible hybrid/remote considerations discussed during recruitment
