Job summary

Maxicare Healthcare Corporation is seeking a Provider Relations Assistant to support the affiliation, accreditation, and renewal of ACU/ECU/PEME providers. You will coordinate with providers to ensure complete documents and accurate requirements, and maintain provider data across monitoring sheets and databases.

The role focuses on timely resolution of provider inquiries, maintaining records, and supporting cross-functional teams to improve service delivery in PEME operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree as required in medical allied field.
  • 1–2 years in healthcare, HMO, insurance, or provider operations preferred.
  • Experience with provider accreditation, affiliation, renewal, or rate management is a plus.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internship may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in affiliation, accreditation, and renewal of ACU/ECU/PEME providers per standards.
  • Coordinate with providers for complete, accurate documents and requirements.
  • Maintain provider information, rates, contracts in monitoring sheets and databases.
  • Monitor provider records and document updates in systems.
  • Respond to provider inquiries and coordinate resolutions.

Job description


  • Assist in the affiliation, accreditation, and renewal of ACU/ECU/PEME providers in accordance with established standards and requirements.

  • Coordinate with providers to ensure the completeness and accuracy of required documents and other accreditation requirements.

  • Maintain and regularly update provider information, rates, contracts, and other relevant details in monitoring sheets and databases.

  • Monitor provider records and ensure that updates and changes are properly documented and reflected in the appropriate systems.

  • Respond to and coordinate provider inquiries, concerns, and requests, and assist in identifying appropriate resolutions.

  • Coordinate with internal departments and cross-functional teams to facilitate timely resolution of provider-related concerns and operational issues.

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to the ACU/ECU/PEME Operations Team regarding provider-related matters.

  • Assist in monitoring provider performance, compliance, and adherence to established service standards and requirements.

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with affiliated providers and wellness partners to support effective service delivery.

  • Assist in improving provider engagement and coordination to ensure efficient delivery of ACU, ECU, and PEME services.

  • Prepare and maintain reports, monitoring tools, and documentation related to provider affiliation, renewal, rates, and other provider activities.

  • Identify discrepancies or operational issues in provider information and assist in troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions.

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of provider-related records and documents.

  • Support process improvements and recommend practical solutions to enhance provider coordination, operational efficiency, and service quality.

  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned in support of ACU, ECU, and PEME operations.

Experience


  • Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in healthcare, HMO, insurance, medical provider relations, clinic/hospital operations, or a related service-oriented industry.

  • Experience in handling, coordinating, or communicating with medical providers, clinics, hospitals, or wellness partners is preferred.

  • Experience in provider accreditation, affiliation, renewal, documentation, or rate management is an advantage.

  • Experience in data monitoring, report preparation, and administrative coordination is preferred.

  • Fresh graduates with relevant internship or exposure to healthcare operations may also be considered.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in any 4-year Medical Allied course or a related field.

  • Candidates from other 4-year degree programs may be considered if they have relevant experience in healthcare, insurance, HMO, or service-oriented operations.
