Job summary

FWD Life Insurance Corporation in Taguig City, Metro Manila, is seeking an Actuarial Specialist for Pricing or Valuation. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• At least 3 years of actuarial experience, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Fellowship or Associate status with a recognized actuarial society (e.g. Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, Actuarial Society of the Philippines).
• Strong technical expertise in actuarial modelling, pricing and valuation methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform actuarial analyses to support the pricing and valuation of insurance products
• Develop and maintain pricing and valuation models to ensure accurate and compliant reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for product development and improvement
• Prepare detailed actuarial reports and analyses to support business decisions
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure the company's compliance
• Participate in the implementation of new actuarial systems and processes
• Provide mentorship and guidance to more junior actuarial staff
