Job summary

Sun Life Philippines is seeking an Actuarial Specialist to support Par management and risk modelling within the Actuarial Valuation function. You will contribute to dividend studies, Par reporting, FCT and risk sensitivity analyses to inform strategic decisions and regulatory compliance.

You will conduct dividend studies, prepare quarterly valuation deliverables, run stochastic modeling, and support OSFI/regulatory reporting. Collaboration with senior management is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree with a strong mathematical or statistical background.
• Associate or near-associate of the Actuarial Society of the Philippines (ASP).
• Minimum of 7 years of actuarial experience, preferably within life insurance.
• Strong knowledge of actuarial modelling and valuation concepts.
• Hands-on experience with actuarial modelling software, preferably AXIS.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive annual dividend studies for traditional participating (par) products.
• Prepare quarterly valuation deliverables including TVOG and UDL.
• Perform stochastic asset modelling and support regulatory reporting.
