Job summary

Manulife MBPS Actuarial is seeking a talented Actuarial Assistant to join our Actuarial Function. You will collaborate with our actuaries to collect, analyze, and interpret data that drive key business decisions, gaining exposure to valuation, pricing, and risk analytics within a global framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance or related field.
• At least 1 year of actuarial work experience in insurance or financial services; fresh graduates welcome.
• Progress toward a designation in a recognized actuarial organization (SOA, ASP).
• Experience with MS Office tools, AXIS, SQL, Qlikview, Python or similar.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our team of actuaries to support data analysis, risk assessment and business planning.
• Assist in tasks to develop precise financial projections, pricing strategies and risk management.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory shifts and technology advancements to drive innovation.
• Gather, organize and report information and recommendations to various levels across the organization.
