Job summary

WTW in the Philippines seeks an entry-level actuarial analytics support professional to join our collaborative team. You will work with colleagues across North America and Latin America on actuarial and analytical projects, focusing on reserving, data analysis, and model validation.

You will assist in regulatory reporting, data preparation, and market studies while learning product development and pricing techniques using various software tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Actuarial Science or Mathematics.
• 1 year of experience in Insurance Companies or Data Consulting firms desirable but not requisite.
• Strong written and verbal English skills and a demonstrated ability to interact.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Intermediate-level programming skills in SQL, VBA, R, Python.
• Well organized, committed to quality, proactive and eager to learn.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with North America and Latin America colleagues across actuarial and analytical projects.
• Assist with reserving calculations for life and non-life products.
• Support statistical research and data analysis, including collecting and cleaning data, performing exploratory data analysis.
• Identify trends and patterns under guidance of senior team members.
• Contribute to analytics and market strategies through data preparation and research.
• Learn product development and pricing techniques using different software tools.
• Support life insurance financial modeling, including running actuarial models and updating inputs and assumptions.
