Job summary

Sun Life in the Philippines seeks a detail-oriented actuarial analyst to support pricing and product development. You will assist in pricing, monitor sales of new products, and help with system translations and policy computations for agents and clients.

A strong mathematical or statistical background, MS Office proficiency, and AXIS knowledge are highly valued; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• University degree with a strong mathematical or statistical background required.
• SOA exam experience is a plus; continuing toward AASP is encouraged.
• Actuarial modeling software knowledge (AXIS) is a plus.
• MS Office proficiency is essential for analyses and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assists in pricing of new products, including review of product setups used for pricing.
• Performs sales monitoring for newly-launched products.
• Participates in system-related activities to ensure correct product translation to systems.
• Performs policy computations for agents and internal clients.
• Assists in agency compensation-related tasks.
• Assists in product profitability monitoring and reporting.
• Provides support on other product-related tasks that may be required by the business.

Job Description

• The role supports product development and pricing by assisting in pricing and product-related activities and initiatives to meet business and regulatory requirements.
