Job summary

Anvaya Cove Beach and Nature Club is seeking a Billing and Collections Specialist to ensure accurate and timely processing of billing statements, monitor outstanding accounts, and follow up on payments. You will reconcile member accounts and prepare AR aging reports.

The role requires strong numerical and analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and the ability to work independently while handling confidential financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Preferably with experience in Credit and Collection, Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Collections.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Excel and basic accounting systems.
• Good communication and negotiation skills, particularly in handling collection follow-ups.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process accurate billing statements and invoices.
• Review billing transactions and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and maintain an updated AR aging report.
• Conduct regular follow-up of overdue accounts and coordinate collection activities.
• Communicate with members/customers regarding outstanding balances, payment status, and billing concerns.
• Record and update payments, collections, adjustments, and account balances.
• Reconcile billing records, collections, and outstanding balances and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Finance, Membership, and other departments regarding billing concerns.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly billing and collection reports.
• Maintain organized and confidential billing and collection records.
• Ensure proper documentation and authorization of billing adjustments and account corrections.
