Role overview: We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented professional to be a part of the Travel & Expense (T&E) CoE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in end-to-end T&E processes, policy compliance, audit, controls, stakeholder management, and process improvement. Experience with SAP Concur, AppZen, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint is an added advantage. This role requires excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and enhance employee experience.

What you will need to be successful:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related Finance discipline (mandatory).
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification in Finance or Operations is preferred.
  • 8–15 years of experience in Finance Operations, Shared Services, or Global Business Services (GBS/GCC).
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience supporting SAP Concur.
  • Demonstrated experience in Travel And Expense operations within a multinational environment.
  • Proven experience of leading teams and managing service delivery.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.
  • Exposure to process transitions, transformation, or automation initiatives is preferred.

On a typical day you will:
Operational Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end Travel & Expense operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with global policies.
  • Monitor and manage service levels (SLAs), operational KPIs, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Drive operational governance through regular business reviews, performance reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Manage escalations and ensure timely closure of complex operational issues.
Process Excellence & Transformation
  • Identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, automation, and digitization.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence methodologies.
  • Partner with Digital, IT, and Product teams to enhance SAP Concur capabilities and user experience.
  • Support implementation of new policies, system enhancements, and global process transitions.
Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to corporate Travel & Expense policies, financial controls, and statutory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining strong documentation and control frameworks.
  • Identify operational risks and implement sustainable mitigation plans.
  • Maintain process documentation, SOPs, and knowledge repositories.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build trusted relationships with regional and global business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Payroll, HR, Tax, and Internal Audit teams to resolve business issues and improve service delivery.
  • Present operational performance, insights, and improvement recommendations to senior leadership.
People Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing operations team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Support talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Drive performance management and capability building across the team.
