Job summary

JEA Steel Industries, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Staff to join our finance team. You will process invoices accurately and timely, maintain documentation, and assist in payment processing for our growing steel manufacturing operations.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, with 1+ year in accounts payable, and SAP knowledge. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a ISO 9001:2015 certified company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or any related courses
• With more than 1 year experience in Accounts Payable
• Knowledgeable in SAP system.
• Computer literate, organized and keen to details, and can work under minimum supervision

Responsibilities

• Process invoices accurately and timely for check and non-check payables, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and assist in reconciling inventory records with actual stock on hand.
• Prepare and process payment transactions while maintaining accurate records of accounts payable activities.
• Analyze General Ledger (GL) accounts to verify the accuracy and completeness of accounting entries.
