Job summary

ConnectOS is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support end-to-end AP processes. You will monitor ABBYY OCR workflows, ensure invoices register accurately in Jobpac, and handle statement and intercompany reconciliations within a hybrid work setup in Metro Manila.

The role emphasizes civil construction exposure, Excel proficiency, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely month-end close.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience with end-to-end accounts payable.
• Experience processing accounts payable, general ledger transactions and working within the GST environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (including Excel).
• Experience in civil construction / general construction highly regarded.
• Experience with Jobpac highly regarded.
• Experience with OCR tools highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Invoice registration (50%): monitor ABBYY inboxes, prioritise and resolve exceptions, update details so invoices register in Jobpac, remove duplicates, and clear daily inbox items.
• Statement reconciliation (35%): reconcile supplier statements against Jobpac, identify missing invoices/credits, resolve differences with suppliers, support month-end reconciliations.
• Intercompany reconciliation (15%): reconcile intercompany supplier accounts against Jobpac, identify missing invoices/credits, support month-end reconciliations.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (06:00 AM to 03:00 PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience with end-to-end accounts payable.
• Experience processing accounts payable, general ledger transactions and working within the GST environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (including Excel).
• Experience in civil construction / general construction highly regarded.
• Experience with Jobpac highly regarded.
• Experience with OCR tools highly regarded.

What will you do?

Invoice registration (50%)

• Monitor the Abbyy accounts payable inboxes and keep invoices moving through ABBYY (OCR software), prioritising and resolving exceptions as they arise.
• Keep ABBYY up to date by completing missing details so invoices register correctly in Jobpac and remove duplicates (including statements) where needed.
• Stay on top of the rejected emails inbox by clearing ABBYY items each day.
• Clear e-invoicing in Jobpac for each entity each day, updating missing or incorrect details so invoices can be registered in Jobpac.

Statement reconciliation (35%)

• Reconcile supplier statements against Jobpac and identify missing invoices/credits and any duplicate transactions.
• Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve differences, obtain copies of missing invoices, and make sure costs are allocated correctly.
• Support month-end by completing reconciliations on time and following up outstanding items within required timeframes

Intercompany reconciliation (15%)

• Work with Accounts receivable team and internal stakeholders to resolve differences, obtain copies of missing invoices, and make sure costs are allocated correctly.
• Reconcile Intercompany supplier accounts against Jobpac and identify missing invoices/credits and any duplicate transactions.
• Support month-end by completing reconciliations on time and following up outstanding items within required timeframes.
