Job summary

GAMA Foods Corporation is seeking an Accounting Supervisor, Payables in Cagayan de Oro. The role is full-time with a Monday to Friday schedule, based in Baloy, Tablon.

The candidate will supervise the payables team, manage invoice processing, and ensure timely payments in alignment with company policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate has a BS in Accountancy, CPA designation, and experience in accounts payable or related accounting functions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• With relevant experience in accounts payable or general accounting, preferably in a supervisory or senior-level role.
• Knowledgeable in accounts payable processes, invoice verification, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounts payable operations, including invoice processing and payment preparation.
• Review invoices, supporting documents, and payables transactions for accuracy.
• Monitor accounts payable balances, vendor accounts, aging, and payment deadlines.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Operations and others to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and review payables reports, reconciliations, and schedules for management/audit.
