Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to support the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics team in the Philippines. You will coordinate with vendors, process and reconcile invoices, and assist in month-end close activities to ensure timely payments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of SAP, Esker or Coupa is a plus. Fresh graduates welcome to apply and grow with Abbott.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 2 years Accounts Payable experience preferred; Fresh graduates welcome.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Familiarity with SAP/Esker/Coupa or other ERP systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external vendors and assist with outstanding invoices.
• Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
• Reconcile external vendor statements and resolve regular payment issues.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with new vendors and internal teams.
• Assist with Accounts Payable month-end close activities.
• Protect organization’s value by maintaining confidentiality.
• Ensure deadlines are met and issues resolved as necessary.
• Adhere to KPI/SLA requirements.
• Participate in cross-training with other team members.

The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible in assisting in the Accounts Payable functions for the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external vendors and assist with outstanding invoices
• Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
• Reconcile external vendor statements : Research, analyze and resolve regular payment and vendor issues
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with new vendors and handle all invoice status related inquiries
• Build & maintain cooperative relationships with internal and external functions
• Assist with the Accounts Payable month end close process
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Ensure deadlines are met and issues resolved as necessary
• Adheres to KPI/SLA requirements
• Participate in cross-training with other team members

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related.
• Preferably 2 years Accounts Payable or General Accounting experience required Education & Experience but Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply..
• Must be knowledgeable about principles, practices, regulations and procedures as they relate to Accounts Payable
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills; Must have ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Fair fluency with Excel formulas and function
• Knowledge of an ERP/Large Accounting package; SAP, Esker, & Coupa
