Polestar Marine Consultants Pte Ltd in Cebu, Philippines, seeks an Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting and finance operations. You will assist with AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and expense processing, contributing to timely financial reporting.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma/BA in Accounting or Finance and have 2–3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is expected; knowledge of Xero is a plus.

Competenze

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

Mansioni

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare, process, and maintain customer and supplier invoices.
• Check invoices, supporting documents, and payment details for accuracy.
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
• Prepare payment requests and supporting documents for management approval.
• Bookkeeping – record accounting transactions and supporting documents.
• Process and verify employee expense claims and reimbursements.
• Assist with monthly accounting closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Maintain filing and organization of accounting records.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, banks, and internal staff on finance matters.
• Support external accountant and related activities.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
