About the role

We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Accounting Team Leader who will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and provide guidance and support to the accounting team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with SAP and strong knowledge of accounting processes and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the day-to-day activities of the Accounting Team

• Review and ensure accuracy of accounting entries, transactions, and supporting documents

• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and other accounting functions

• Prepare and review financial and accounting reports

• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities

• Monitor reconciliations, including bank and account reconciliations

• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting policies and procedures

• Utilize SAP for accounting transactions, reporting, and monitoring

• Coordinate with other departments regarding accounting-related concerns

• Identify discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• At least 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with supervisory or team leadership experience

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP is required

• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
