Job Description

• Supervise accounting staff to ensure accurate consolidation of reports
• Manage vessel cash flow, fund monitoring, and cost control
• Oversee accounts payable, ledgers, and purchase orders
• Prepare variance analysis comparing actual vs. budget
• Deliver timely financial and management reports to stakeholders
• Coordinate with auditors to meet regulatory compliance
• Lead BPO accounting for port and crew disbursements, including quality checks
• Handle queries and clarifications from clients and agents
• Ensure proper implementation of accounting policies and procedures
• Recommend process improvements through continuous review of procedures

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounting Supervisor should have:

• A Degree in Finance/Accounting; accounting certifications preferred
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience; vessel/ship‑management exposure is a plus
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
