Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking is required.
• Certified Public Accountant preferred with supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of BIR regulations and tax filing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Excel, databases, and financial software.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Accounting Manager in handling other members of the team such as scheduling and delegating tasks, checking of reports submitted and training
• Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations
• Monitoring and review of sales reports
• Make sure that all transactions for the month are complete, accounted and encoded
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Prepare journal entries, log data into spreadsheets and communicate with outside financial institutions, such as banks and lenders
• Inventory Monitoring
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. BIR)
• Participate in regular tax filing and preparation.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing
• Assist in preparation of Management Reports
• Process and submit reports for audit
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements
• Prepare / review bank reconciliation and key account reconciliation.
• Implement and monitor internal control procedure
• Assist in operations
• Other tasks that Management may assign from time to time relevant to the job position.
