Job summary

Green Sun Hotel Management, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to support the Accounting Head in daily operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and effective team management.

Responsibilities include AR, journal entries, month-end close, bank reconciliations, tax compliance, asset tracking, and audits coordination. Strong leadership and hotel industry accounting experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Hotel system) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Accounts Receivable Aging Reports and follow up on outstanding collections.
• Prepare and review journal entries for various accounting transactions.
• Supervise and maintain accounts receivable records.
• Reconcile sales invoices against collection receipts to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Review financial reports and ensure accuracy of general ledger balances.
• Monitor daily bank balances to manage company cash positions.
• Oversee and monitor daily sales transactions.
• Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations.
• Supervise receipting and collection functions.
• Oversee disbursement and accounts payable processes when required.
• Monitor and track Certificates of Withholding Tax issued by customers for proper tax documentation and compliance.
• Supervise physical inventory accounting and maintain records of all company assets.
• Provide administrative accounting support and ensure compliance with company financial policies.
• Assist management in financial monitoring, reporting, and internal controls.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
