Job summary

Microgenesis, based in Mandaluyong, is seeking an Accounting Supervisor (General Accountant) to lead day-to-day accounting activities and ensure ledger integrity. This on-site role collaborates with finance teams to maintain accurate records and timely closings.

The successful candidate will supervise staff, reinforce internal controls, prepare financial statements, support audits, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes in a dynamic IT solutions environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting with experience in general accounting and financial processes.
• Ability to prepare and review Financial Statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant standards.
• Proficiency in Financial Reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and related systems used for recording and analyzing financial data.
• Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying variances, and recommending improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day general accounting operations, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate ledgers and ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Supervise accounting staff and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights for decision-making.
• Support audits and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
