Job summary

EZ Rocks Co. Inc. is seeking a seasoned Accounting Manager to lead and supervise the Accounting Department in Makati. You will oversee financial statements, budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards, BIR, and SEC regulations.

You will strengthen internal controls, deliver financial analysis to support business decisions, coordinate with external auditors, and mentor staff to keep accounting systems current and compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA license preferred but not required
• At least 5–7 years of relevant experience with 2–3 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, BIR, and SEC compliance
• Proficient in accounting systems/software and MS Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong supervisory leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments
• Detail-oriented, integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
• Willingness to travel for business assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Accounting Department, including but not limited to business financial and accounting processes, records and taxation.
• Lead and manage the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecast, cash flow and other accounting related reports.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and government regulations.
• Monitor and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Deliver financial analysis and recommendations to support business strategies.
• Facilitates annual financial statement and coordinate with external auditor for annual BIR and SEC filing.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff to achieve department goals. Always ensure the accounting systems and practices are up-to-date and in compliance to government agencies accordingly.
• Other functions and responsibilities necessary for efficient operation of the department and beneficial to the company.
