The Pacific Meat Company Incorporated is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead our accounting team in Binan City, Laguna, focusing on BIR compliance and audit readiness.

You will ensure timely financial statements and regulatory filings, coordinate with auditors, and implement compliant policies while mentoring junior staff and supporting cross-functional decision-making. This role requires strong knowledge of tax regulations and effective communication across departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in accounting/compliance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to address compliance issues.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• CPA or relevant professional certification is an advantage.

About the role

Join The Pacific Meat Company Incorporated' as an Accounting Supervisor - BIR/Audit Compliance. In this full-time role based in Binan City Laguna, you will be responsible for supervising the accounting team and ensuring compliance with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations and audit requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other regulatory filings

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any audit findings

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with BIR regulations

• Train and mentor junior members of the accounting team to enhance their skills and knowledge

• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decision-making

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the accounting or compliance function of a food manufacturing or FMCG industry

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and audit requirements

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve compliance issues

• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office suite

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or relevant professional certification is an advantage
