The candidate must be a CPA with PEZA-registered manufacturing experience and 3–5 years in accounting, preferably with supervisory duties. Strong leadership, analytical skills, and Excel proficiency are essential for timely and compliant financial statements.

Qualifications

• CPA is REQUIRED.
• Experience in a PEZA-registered manufacturing company is required.
• Knowledge of PEZA and BIR reporting and regulatory requirements is essential.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; supervisory exposure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting and taxation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations including general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review PEZA and BIR reports, filings, and compliance.
• Ensure timely submission of statutory and regulatory reports.
• Monitor tax compliance and assist in BIR and PEZA audits and inspections.
• Review accounting records for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, PEZA, BIR, and other agencies.
• Lead and supervise the accounting team to complete activities on time.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee daily accounting operations, including general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review PEZA and BIR reports, filings, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory and regulatory reports.
• Monitor tax compliance and assist in BIR and PEZA audits, inspections, and related requirements.
• Review accounting records and ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Prepare financial statements and other management reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, PEZA, BIR, and other government agencies as needed.
• Lead and supervise the accounting team and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen accounting controls and efficiency.

About you

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – REQUIRED
• Must have experience in a PEZA-registered manufacturing company.
• Must be knowledgeable in PEZA and BIR reports, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting and taxation.
• Experience in manufacturing accounting is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
