Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
  • Review general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
  • Consolidate financial reports for the parent company and its affiliates.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision‑making.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation and recording of real estate transactions, including property sales, leases, and development costs.
  • Review payroll processing and related reports.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, government regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Prepare and review tax filings, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
  • Maintain and improve internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and ensure timely submission of required documents.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff.
  • Assign tasks, review work output, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and analyze variances.
  • Support management in financial planning and cost control initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems and procedures.
  • Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.
  • Ensure efficient use of accounting software and tools.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., operations, sales, and project management) regarding financial matters.
  • Provide financial guidance to management and department heads.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management & Reporting
  • Supervise and manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
  • Review general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
