Job summary

U-BIX Corporation seeks an Accounting Supervisor to manage daily accounting operations, including sales accounting and collections, and to prepare accurate financial reports in line with GAAP/IFRS. This role requires collaboration across departments and oversight of month-end and year-end closings at the Makati head office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA is a plus.
• 2-3 years of solid accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
• Advanced MS Excel skills and data analysis capability.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead and coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure adherence to internal control policies and accounting procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.
• Provide support in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and system efficiencies.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions.
• Assigned to Visayas Affiliates based in Head Office
