Job summary

Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO Manila) is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Staff to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations in Metro Manila. The role emphasizes accuracy, integrity, and adherence to accounting policies, with responsibilities across AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end activities.

You will work closely with internal departments and vendors, prepare financial reports, monitor budgets, and review expense claims, bringing strong Excel and Office skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Office; knowledge of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and budget monitoring.
• Review employee expense claims and vendor invoices.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and service providers on accounting matters.
• Provide administrative support as required.
