Job summary

GAMA Foods Corporation in Iloilo is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely processing of accounting transactions.

The role collaborates with internal departments to ensure proper documentation, reconciliation, and compliance with company accounting policies. It offers exposure to accounts payable/receivable, month-end closing, and audit processes in a growing poultry business.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology, or any related course.
• At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, reconciliation, and financial documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify accounting transactions, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare account reconciliations, schedules, reports, and other accounting documents within established deadlines.
• Monitor and maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper filing of financial documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and other stakeholders regarding accounting transactions and discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end closing, audit requirements, and other accounting activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
