Job summary

Nexus Ingredients Inc. is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our Finance & Accounting team in Metro Manila. You will assist in daily accounting operations, payroll preparation, AR support, and the preparation of monthly reports and inventory tracking.

This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Ideal candidates have a relevant degree and basic knowledge of accounting principles, with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Preferably with relevant accounting experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Organized, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
• Flexible and able to handle different accounting functions.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily accounting operations and finance activities.
• Provide backup support for AR, expense management, and other functions.
• Organize, file, scan, and archive accounting documents.
• Prepare monthly accounting reports, schedules, and monitoring files.
• Prepare monthly Inventory Inbound and Outbound reports.
• Assist in payroll preparation and gathering inputs.
• Validate and monitor expenses, receipts, invoices, reimbursements.
• Monitor collections and maintain AR records.
• Data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Maintain organized physical and electronic files.
• Provide admin support to Finance & Accounting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
