Responsibilities

• Perform timely and accurate bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts.
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items, discrepancies, and outstanding transactions.
• Monitor cash movements and ensure proper recording of bank transactions.
• Coordinate with banks and internal departments regarding reconciliation concerns.
• Prepare reconciliation reports and provide supporting schedules for audits.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Officer - Bank Reconciliation to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of bank transactions, reconciling company accounts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting financial reporting activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Management, or a related field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred

• At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or bank reconciliation

• Previous experience working in a retail company is highly preferred

• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes, general accounting principles, and financial controls

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/ERP platforms

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
