Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities and ensure timely month-end and year-end closings
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including AR/AP officers and bookkeepers

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure adherence to tax laws, financial regulations, and internal policies
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets

Reporting & Analysis

• Generate management reports and variance analyses
• Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and operational decisions
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals

Inventory & Cost Accounting (if applicable)

• Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation
• Monitor cost accounting processes for manufacturing or logistics operations
