Job summary

Sunland Development Corp. is seeking an experienced accounting professional with at least three years in accounting and tax, to assume senior roles such as Assistant Accounting Manager or Senior Accounting Officer.

The role requires strong knowledge of laws and regulations and proficiency in MS Office. The incumbent will handle BIR and SEC filings, support business registrations, and contribute to financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Should have an accounting degree and at least three years of accounting and tax experience in a senior role.
• Knowledgeable in professional accounting and auditing principles and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to accounting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BIR, SEC, and other government regulatory filings and ensure timely filing.
• Provide support on compliance matters such as business registrations and form reviews for compliance.
• Experience in financial statement reporting, preparation and general accounting background.
• Participate in compliance reviews, projects, and training efforts.
• Guide less experienced staff on regulatory matters.
• Assist management in identifying and containing compliance risk and fostering a compliance culture.

• Should be a degree holder in accounting with at least three years of accounting and tax experience as an Asst. Accounting Manager or Senior Accounting Officer

• Knowledgeable in professional accounting and auditing principles and practices and MS Office applications.

• Knowledge of laws and regulations.

• Amenable to be assigned in San Miguel Manila near TIP Manila and Ayala Bridge

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare BIR, SEC, and other government regulatory filings and ensure timely filing

• Providing support to assigned areas on compliance-related issues like opening a business registration matters, and form review for compliance.

• Experience in Financial Statement reporting, preparation and General Accounting background

• Participating in compliance, review, projects, and training efforts

• Guiding less experienced compliance workers on regulatory matters

• Assisting the management in identifying and containing compliance risk and proactively fostering a compliance culture.
