Job summary

Scrubbed is seeking a knowledgeable Accounting Manager to lead the accounting team and enhance department accuracy and efficiency. You will design, manage, and evaluate day-to-day activities, and report directly to the executive team with integrity.

You will mentor staff through AR/AP processing, bank reconciliations, and financial close, ensuring 100% accuracy in AP and billing while aligning with firm standards and policies. A strong ethical foundation and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Finance or Accounting experience with 1–2 years of managerial exposure
• CPA equivalent; MBA or CFA a plus
• Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP and Dynamics
• Articulate communicator with strong written and verbal skills
• Self-starter who can work independently
• High ethical standards and ability to handle confidential information
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate accounting staff to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Design, manage, track, and evaluate day-to-day activities of the team
• Mentor staff in AR/AP processing, bank reconciliation, closing and reporting
• Ensure accuracy of AP setup, processing and payments
• Ensure accuracy of customer billings and collections
• Provide insights to executives and participate in finance projects
• Uphold internal controls and best practices across the department
• Report KPI results and manage performance coaching with staff
