Job summary

Tanduay Distillers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our finance team in Metro Manila.

You will oversee daily department operations, ensure timely posting of financial transactions, and drive policy compliance and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred), 5–7 years in accounting with managerial responsibilities, and strong proficiency in SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA preferred).
• 5 to 7 years of accounting experience, including managerial responsibilities.
• Proficiency in SAP and in using Microsoft Office with strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the daily operations of the department, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of completion and posting of financial transactions.




• Assist in implementing financial policies that align with the company's goals.




• Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.




• Implement corrective actions to address any identified deficiencies or irregularities.




• Directly lead, mentor, and support the accounting team to enhance their performance and foster professional growth on a day-to-day basis.




• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training and development needs.




• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors and customers.




• Handle routine communications and issue resolutions with vendors and customers.




• Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions and payments to vendors.




• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.




• Prepare accurate and timely reports pertaining to the department's operations.




• Present detailed operational reports to department heads and other relevant stakeholder

QUALIFICATIONS
