Job summary

eClerx Philippines is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, stabilize new processes, and implement controls and KPIs. The role requires a CPA, a BS in Accounting, and 2–3 years in a leadership accounting position within a BPO/shared services setting.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in GL/AR/AP and be familiar with JD Edwards, SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite or Xero. Willingness to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa and shifting schedules is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting graduate.
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• 2–3 years' experience as Accounting Manager or similar leadership in BPO/shared services.
• 3–5 years' experience in GL, AR, AP.
• Knowledgeable in JD Edwards, SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite or Xero.
• Conversant in IFRS and US GAAP.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules.
• Must be amenable to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of accounting and will assist in developing controls, SLAs, and KPIs.

Responsibilities:

• Stabilization of newly transitioned processes
• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Implementation of established controls and KPIs. Will assist in enhancing as required.
• Second level of escalation
• Line manager of team leaders
• Pre-process training
• FTE Calculation Review
• Activities that will be assigned by his immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting graduate
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant
• At least 2-3 years' experience as an Accounting Manager or similar Leadership capacity in the BPO or Shared Services setting
• At least 3-5 years' experience in various facets of Accounting -- General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Knowledgeable in accounting software preferably JD Edwards, SAP, Quickbooks, NetSuite or Xero.
• Conversant in IFRS and US GAAP
• Willing to work on shifting schedules
• Must be amenable to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa City
