Job summary

Prime Power Energie System in Metro Manila is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to supervise and lead the accounting department, oversee daily operations, and mentor junior staff.

You will prepare financial statements, conduct in-depth analysis, ensure IFRS compliance with local regulations, manage the month- and year-end close processes, coordinate annual audits, and drive internal controls and process improvements to support strategic decision-making.

Job description

• Supervising and Managing the Accounting department
• Oversees the daily operations of the accounting department, including managing, mentoring, and developing junior accounting staff.
• Prepares and reviews financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements), conduct financial analysis, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS), local regulations, and company policies.
• Manages the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and consolidations.
• Coordinates and completes annual audits.
• Implements and maintains internal financial controls, identifies areas for process improvement, and recommends solutions.
