Job summary

Lawson Philippines, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional for an on-site position in Manila to lead accounting operations, ensuring financial compliance and effective management of the finance team.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of PH taxation is required. This full-time role emphasizes leadership and strategic financial oversight.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred.
• 5–8+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including people management.
• Strong knowledge of PH taxation, labor-related statutory requirements, and PFRS.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting operations: GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, inventory, and month-end/year-end close.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with PFRS.
• Ensure full tax compliance: BIR filings, tax reconciliations, and audits.
• Manage statutory reporting and compliance with SEC, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-endaccounting operations: GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, inventory, and month-end/year-end close
• Prepare and reviewfinancial statements in accordance with PFRS
• Ensure fulltax compliance: BIR filings (VAT, EWT, ITR), tax reconciliations, and audits
• Managestatutory reporting and compliance with SEC, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG
• Overseebudgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Strengtheninternal controls, policies, and audit readiness
• Partner with operations and management oncost control, profitability analysis, and decision support
• Lead, coach, and develop the finance and accounting team
• Coordinate withexternal auditors, banks, and regulators
• Timely and accurate monthly financial reports
• Clean audit results and zero major compliance findings
• On-time tax and statutory filings with minimal penalties
• Budget adherence and improved cash flow visibility
• Process improvements and cost savings initiatives

Required Qualifications
