OCIC Consulting Int'l. Inc. in Makati City is seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to support the bookkeeping team and ensure accurate financial records. This contract role offers hands-on exposure to real-world accounting tasks and the chance to learn QuickBooks and other software in a growing firm.

You will assist with data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting while delivering quality service to clients and collaborating with a professional team.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in an Accounting or Finance degree program, 3rd year minimum.
• Proficient with accounting software and spreadsheets, including QuickBooks.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and ability to collaborate in a team.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our dynamic team at OCIC Consulting Int'l. Inc. in Makati City Metro Manila. This is a contract role that will provide you with valuable experience in the field of bookkeeping and small practice accounting.

What you'll be doing

• Assist the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

• Perform data entry, reconciliations, and other routine bookkeeping tasks

• Prepare financial reports and statements as required

• Support the team in answering client inquiries and providing excellent customer service

• Participate in the implementation of accounting systems and processes

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting procedures and practices

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in an Accounting or Finance-related degree program

• Must be at least a 3rd year student in your degree programme

• Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications

• Experience with QuickBooks accounting software is required

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently

• Eagerness to learn and a passion for the accounting field
