Job summary

Sunland Development Corp in Manila is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee all general accounting functions including payables, receivables, taxes, and related tasks.

You will review current practices, provide analyses to management, and prepare annual budget monitoring and financial reports.

The ideal candidate is BS Accountancy with 3-5 years in a similar role, strong MS Office skills, and a background in trading, real estate, construction, hotel or retail.

Qualifications

• BS Accountancy graduate.
• CPA is a plus.
• 3-5 years experience as Accounting Manager.
• Advance skills in MS Office.
• Good inter- and intra-personal relationship and work attitude.
• Must be well-versed in all accounting facets and has good analytical skills.
• Solid background in Trading, Real-Estate, Construction, Hotel and Retail or related industry.
• Highly flexible, organize and can withstand pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage general accounting functions including A/P, A/R, taxes, and others.
• Review and improve accounting practices to safeguard and maximize resources.
• Communicate reliable financial information to management with analyses and proposals.
• Provide periodic financial information and comparisons against budget and prior year.
• Prepare analyses and monitor the annual budget.

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, taxes, and others;

• Continuously review, assess current accounting practices, procedures, and make recommendations to ensure that resources are properly safeguarded and maximized;

• Communicates relevant and reliable financial information to management and provides analysis and proposal;

• Provides management of reliable and relevant financial information periodically including financial analysis, comparative reports against the previous year, and against the budget;

• Prepares analyzes and monitors the annual budget.

Educational & Skills Requirements:

• BS Accountancy Graduate;
