Job summary

Innerworks International is seeking an Accounting Officer to oversee the company’s financial health, manage day-to-day accounting operations, and ensure compliance with audits, invoices, and budget preparations. You will need strong organizational skills and the ability to handle time-sensitive tasks.

You will compile financial information, maintain records, and produce monthly and annual statements, reports, and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 3–5 years end-to-end accounting experience.
• Experience preparing statements (income, balance sheet, cash flow) and reports.
• Proficient with bank reconciliations, AR/AP, and compliance requirements.
• Strong organization and time-management skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Prepare financial management reports.
• Handle AR, AP, collections, billings, bookkeeping, filings, and bank transactions.
• Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends.
• Recommend efficient resource use and maintain solutions to financial problems.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities continuously.
• Monitor and support taxation issues.
