Job summary

Stores Specialists, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join the finance team in the Philippines.

The role involves typing accurately, maintaining accounting records, handling bank deposits, posting to the general ledger, and reconciling accounts. Other duties include processing billings and collections, coordinating with suppliers, monitoring receivables and payables, and preparing closing entries and tax returns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Experience with accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Type accurately, prepare, and maintain accounting documents and records.
• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
• Process billings and collections and follow-up overdue accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
• Prepare periodic closing entries and reports.
• Prepare and file relevant taxation requirements and returns.
