Job summary

All About People Consulting in Makati seeks a detail-oriented Accountant to handle daily bookkeeping, tax filing, and financial record-keeping. You will process invoices, receipts, and journal entries, and reconcile accounts while preparing reports for internal stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, strong MS Office skills, and excellent English and Filipino communication. Flexibility for urgent matters and a two-year commitment are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and tax filing processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Filipino.
• Open to learning new processes and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours when urgent work matters arise.
• Must reside in or near Makati City or be willing to relocate.
• Willing to commit to a minimum of two (2) years with the company (training bond).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax-related documents and government compliance requirements.
• Process and record financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and journal entries.
• Reconcile accounts and assist in preparing financial reports.
• Organize and maintain accounting files and supporting documents.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding accounting-related concerns.
• Respond to urgent work-related inquiries when necessary.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
